The last mission hadn't been a particularly long one, but it had been rather telling on Kilbane's strength and his will. After the debriefing the Commodore had given them, he'd told those who had been involved to get some rest and recuperation and Kilbane had come straight back to his quarters. After a long hot shower, he found himself wrapped in a large towel, sitting on his sofa with a large scotch in his hand.

"Pegasus!" Milani exclaimed, "don't you see the dragon shooting flames into the ground, i never thought they ever existed and you, Sir, Commodore you look so wonderful in that golden armour, if you don't mind me saying." The security guards looked at each other and then back at their Commanders.
"You don't look to shabby yourself" Finchley replied, a touch embarrassed at Milani's comment.
Kilbane looked back and forth between them as he exclaimed, "What are you two havering about, you're both still in your uniforms...both grimy, tatty and torn!"

"He never did !?" Shon exclaimed at a whisper as she looked at Milani. The bridge of the Thall was calm, bathed in the dim light of approximated night and the atmosphere was somewhat relaxed. Milani sat, her shift just beginning when Shon crept in. It had been several weeks since the Orion affair and they had not yet had a chance to talk to each other.
Milani smiled looking over the orders the Commodore had left her. "I thought you would be in your quarters by now, having an evening with...." she stopped when she saw Shon's face.

Milani emerged from her shower, dried herself and dressed in her sleep robe. Sitting down she took a sip of her spiced Idanian tea trying to get used to the harsh taste before the rush of heated spices.
