The Norway Class medium cruiser USS Thall is part of a little known Starfleet Intelligence Black Ops unit code named 'Purple squad'. There is no data record of their existence, all communication regarding Operations, Assignments, and Missions are deleted once sent.

Captain Kerr, Commanding Officer of the USS Thall, has strict orders that any and all Operations, Assignments, and Missions are to be carried out, regardless of cost.
