Mission:
The missions never over.
Location: Wyatt Steele’s Quarters
Timeline: Current
News, and personnel files had travelled fast, amongst them was one file that Evelyn had practically jumped for joy about. Waiting for acknowledgement that Wyatt was onboard Eve waited until he’d had his chance to report in to let herself into his quarters. She had a nice little plan...
The wait hadn’t been too long as she heard the doors open, and movement in the other room. As the doors finally opened she smiled from where she lay between Wyatt’s bedsheets. “Welcome home...”
Wyatt had reported in and now headed to his quarters, The trip hadn't been hard just long and all he wanted to do was relax. He pressed the lock on his quarters door and entered. His duffel bags with some clothes and personal items were lined up against the sofa. "At least they didn't get lost this time." He muttered to himself. As he walked into the kitchen he thought of Evelyn, a smile coming to his face. They had really hit it off, but duty called, and they were separated. He sure wished he could see her again and they could pick up where they left off.
He entered the bedroom and stopped dead in his tracks, there in his bed was Evelyn! "Evelyn?" He moved closer "Evelyn? What are you doing here?" His voice couldn't hide his joy and excitement of seeing her.
“It’s Eve remember...” She smiled as she moved closer draping her arms around Wyatt’s neck. “I’m assigned here now, Chief Counsellor!” She didn’t waste another moment as she kissed him, long and slow.
"I remember." Wyatt said with a bright happy smile as Eve draped her arms around his neck. "This is fantastic!" He got out before Eve kissed him long and slow. His arms came up and went around her slender waist as he returned the kiss with equal passion. Suddenly he wasn't so tired anymore.
Eve smiled as their lips finally parted. “How’s about we talk later...” her intentions were plain as she started helping Wyatt out of his clothing.
"An idea I can definitely get behind." Wyatt stated as he kissed Eve again. "This is the best welcome home greeting i have ever gotten."
“It’s about to get a whole lot better!” Eve grinned as she pulled him down into bed...
~ Sometime later ~
“Have I actually said I love you?” Eve smiled as she lifted her head off Wyatt’s shoulder to look him in the eyes.
Wyatt kissed her forehead. "I don't believe you said the words, but your actions speak volumes of how you feel and before you say it, I'll tell you, I love you, Eve."
“I love you too, you know I do” Evelyn smiled the biggest smile yet. “I’m sorry I disappeared overnight last time we were together, circumstances changed and I had to go. I didn’t want to leave like that.” She lay her head back on his shoulder. “This is all I’ve wanted ever since.”
Wyatt kissed her again. "I know Eve, I know. Sometimes we have no control of the situation." He smiled down at her. "However that is all in the past. We're here together now. Which brings me to this. We obviously love and care for each other. Um, how would feel about moving in here with me? You know, us living together."
Eve sat up looking Wyatt in the eyes. “Are you serious!?...never mind, stupid question, of course you’re serious!” She sat wide eyed for a moment before nodding like a ‘noddy’ dog. “Yes!” She smiled. “I would love for us to move in together!”
Wyatt grinned like the Cheshire cat, "Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic" He exclaimed. "The quarters are big enough and I haven't unpacked so, if you want to bring your things here, now is perfect. Nothing to move." He smiled at Eve, "This is going to be great!"
Eve was grinning like a Cheshire Cat herself. “Can we cuddle for a little longer first? I’ve missed this.”
Wyatt nodded happily. "Evie sweetheart we can cuddle for as long as you like." He answered as he pulled the covers up over them.
Cuddling back up Eve revelled in being wrapped in Wyatt’s safe embrace. “I learned something interesting, it seems my father spoke to Uncle Finchley, and between them they had me shadowed for most of my career. It seems I owe Commander Karadis my life a few times over! I’m wondering just how much they know about us.”
"Your very own guardian angel." Wyatt noted. "That is cool. As for knowing about us. I bet they know a great deal about us and I'm not sure how I feel about that."
“Well whatever they know, it won’t stop me being with you!” Eve smiled as her fingers gently trailed back and forth across Wyatt’s chest. “I guess we just have to prove we can still work together. We’ve done it before, we can do it again.”
Wyatt hugged her. "Nor me being with you." He replied. "As for working together, as you just said we have done it before, we can certainly do it again."
Eve nodded before moving to sit up. “Let’s get my things, I don’t have much just a couple of boxes and a suitcase. It’s a good job I haven’t unpacked yet!” She reached for her clothes which were neatly folded on a nearby chair.
Wyatt began reaching for his clothes, some were on the floor, some in a nearby chair. "Sounds good Eve. The sooner we get your stuff, the better it will be and afterwards, we'll have a nice romantic dinner." He promised.
“I take it you already reported in then?” Eve smiled as she put her clothes on. “What do you think of Uncle Finchley?”
Wyatt nodded."Well, yes, reported in to the duty officer but not to the captain at least not yet. He was in a meeting or conference."
“Ahh I see” Eve nodded. “In that case I suggest you report in while I get my things sorted. Oh and make sure your uniform is crease free, and regulation crisp!” She grinned.
"Let's get you moved and then I'll go and properly introduce myself to the captain." Wyatt countered. "And I'll make sure my uniform is crease free and crisp." He finished with a smile.
Evelyn nodded. “Sounds Good to me Imzadi.” With that she headed for the door.
Wyatt followed Eve out the door. "I love it when a plan comes together."
